out of bed sleepy head
you got a long day ahead of you
pull the shade, face the day
you got to get a jump on things

you were born a year late and 10,000 dollars short
and your debt just doubles with every credit report

now is the time for catching up
but you never will
you want to get on top of things
but your at the bottom of the hill

remove that pillow from your eyes
as the sun you too should rise
get up and out

retirement's an eternity away
