your favorite show is on the box
i'll hit the tube
cause the picture's not too clear
i'll don the foil hat
just to watch the atmosphere

just a word of advice
don't buy into anyone
especially if they're nice
when it comes down to it
everyone's a jerk
the mean ones are just honest
about their joy in your hurt

in the end everybody sells out

it's what they're all about
and they'll tell you
'oh, we're just buying in'
apparently,
allegiance doesn't pay
the same kind of dividends
